I’m a brewer and traveller with a special interest in Eastern Europe and the Caucuses. I like to look at drinks as a lens to see the culture, politics, history and tastes of a place. You can learn a lot about a country from their beer, how they drink it and what place it has in their society.

This is just a collection of odd things I’ve tried along the way, usually with a bit of a tale of how I came to be there, and some context about the place.
